Biography
Richard provides a supportive and caring counselling relationship. He encourages clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. He helps clients to understand what they are feeling and the causes. He offers both short-term work focusing on specific issues and longer-term work for clients wishing to explore at depth.
Richard is an Integrative and Humanistic Counsellor in training. He started his training in Bournemouth in the late 1990s. More recently he has studied at Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC) and aims to achieve his diploma in the next twelve months.
Richard is a volunteer counsellor with Cotswold Counselling in Cirencester. He has worked with clients on a wide range of issues. These have included: anger, anxiety, bereavement, bullying, depression, divorce, low-self esteem, OCD, self-harm, separation, unemployment, and relationship difficulties. In addition Richard works as a Counsellor for a Young People aged 11-18 within a School setting.
Richard’s fees range from £20 to £25.
